The M27 motorway in the UK closed both ways on Saturday, October 17, 2026. A police-led event caused a 20-minute hold-up and 3 miles of traffic. Diversion routes were provided as the motorway remained shut. Drivers were told to stay away from the area to stop more hold-ups.
